Tell us a story from before we can remember

So, yes, I admit it, I would have liked 'The Tree of Life' a lot more if the soundtrack had included Moscow Olympics on it. However, even so, I still can't wait for Part 2. Erm, there is a Part 2 coming along soon, right? Like, 'The Shrubbery of Death', or something?

  1. You kill me, you know? My next blog was to be about swirly-ness, how am I to do this without copying? Said with a bit of tongue in cheek dearest. Sometimes I just want to cuddle you close as we are [ ].

  2. Haha! Sorry :) But, just go for it. I mean, all occasions of swirly-ness are good. I can't stop playing Moscow Olympics these days. They should have been around in the days of Sarah. Sigh!

  3. Saw the movie and actually found myself entranced by some of the music - there was a particular operatic type song during some of the imagery that I am determined to find! I like this too though. Will definitely be giving it a repeat listen, thanks!

  4. Yes indeed, to be serious for a moment, I thought the soundtrack was very fitting and appropriate for the picture. It reminded me of the way that the music of Dead Can Dance was used in that 90s film/documentary 'Baraka'. Glad you enjoyed the track by Moscow Olympics though - Philippines indiepop FTW! :)

  5. Oh and p.s. maybe the 'Shrubbery of Death' will be directed by the Knights Who Say Ni. Nerd alert haha!
