[the start] And The Spluttering Man Said... 'You'd find a fucking argument with yer own shadow, ye hoor'. And The Mortaled Lady Did Then Reply... 'Aye, well, as long as it wisnae your shadow, ye pukey cunt!'. At Which Point The Humble Bystanding Man Interjected... 'I think you should both take a few moments out and perhaps listen to some Elizabeth Fraser Post-Cocteau material. Really, I do'. Then. To The Great Surprise Of The Public Witnesses Gathered All Around The Windy Square, The Spluttering Man and The Mortaled Lady Founded An Unholy Alliance And Battered The Fuck Out Of The Humble Bystanding Man, AKA The Stupid Nebby Cunt. 1. New Radiohead you say? I'm still, well, 'digesting' it. And I use that word very carefully. I mean, I might have said 'ignoring' instead.

  2. Describe the relationship between this recording and the version attributed to the Bristol trip-hop collective Massive Attack (20 credits).

  3. Massive who? Oh, them.... how very 90s! Um, one and the very same I strongly suspect. It's Lizzie's song though, eh? I mean, really. It has her unique stamp and very specific linguistic markers all over it. :) But, anyway, new Radiohead? Any thoughts Davy?

  5. PS: I actually thought you'd unearthed a solo demo of this, or something. So little Liz stuff about these days I swoop on any crumbs from her past tables. That website hasn't been updated for two years : (

  7. Sigh. I wish I had! Sorry, no. Just my take on the ownership of the recording. It is Lizzie's work. And I get yer drift, mush. And you should give New Radiohead a go-go. It is quite catchy, in a post-dubstep kinda way. (GAG)
